Kevin Youkilis has mild sprain in Team USA Comeback
Davey Johnson, manager for Team USA, noticed how much pain Kevin Youkilis was in during last nights WBC game with Puerto Rico. Youkilis returned to the Red Sox Spring Camp for a MRI. Fortunately, the examination diagnosed a mild left ankle sprain. Check ou the story on ESPN – "Team USA’s Kevin Youkilis has mild sprain, tendinitis – ESPN".
Now Davey has to adjust the lineup again for the semifinals. Can Team USA advanced in the World Baseball Classic with the remaining players? I don’t think so, but it makes interesting watching the TV for this time of the season. I must admit, I’ve been tuned into most of the games. It feels like playoff fever in the spring. You gotta Love it!!!!!

Ok. A lost last night to Venezuela isn’t a big thing, except the team is riddled with injuries. It doesn’t look as if Youkilis is returning, so tough times are coming, I think.
