Just In – Tampa Bay Rays Evan Longoria Heading to Team USA
Just in – Tampa Bay Rays third baseman, Evan Longoria, is heading out to help Team USA in the World Baseball Classic. Great news for the team. Davey Johnson, coach of Team USA, was told by the Rays to make sure Longoria doesn’t play first base. They were concerned that because of Youkilis is not available for the remaining games of the Classic that Longoria would be put on first base.
I’m just glad Team USA is able to pull some talent to help them through the semi’s. GO TEAM USA.
