Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice are in the Baseball Hall of Fame?
Wow, is this true? Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice are in the Baseball Hall of Fame? I don’t knowl about this. I do agree with Jim Rice, but I would have picked Tommy John, Andre Dawson, and Dave Parker over Rickey Henderson. Especially since it is Rickey’s first year of eligibility. I’m sure others had their favorites. Speak out.
Tommy John who had a 26 year career with a 3.34 era, should at some point be in the Hall. Just the courage for undertaking a new surgical procedure should get him in the hall.
Andre Dawson with over 438 home runs in 21 seasons helped the Cubs in his first season with a career high 49 home runs. He played on very poor teams with no line-up and still managed a career .323 batting average. He should be considered.
Dave Parker had a MVP season in 1978 with the Pirates should also have some consideration as well.
Let me know what you think and if someone else should be at least mentioned for Baseball’s Hall of Fame.
